You cannot truly see unless you take in the world without assumptions

"My son once came up to me on a playground and said, "The little black girl just threw something at me!" I looked over at the only African American girl on the playground, who was wearing a green T-shirt, and my son said indignantly, "Not the GREEN girl, the BLACK girl!" pointing at a small blonde child in a black shirt."
