I too have realized that I make/generate my own (attitute toward the rest of the world around me) happiness in life [or the opposite]
It is not what the world/life is doing to me, but how I see/feel it from my own perspective...
Sticks and stones are rare and words only hurt if you take them that way (as hurtful).
